Brian, I would have thought someone would have been with you by now.
Perhaps the Mac guys just happen to be on vacation and not processing
this forum with their usual alacrity. (One of them answered a question
in here just a couple of days ago.) As I'm not a Mac guy and you say
you've already tried what I would have suggested, I can't be of much help.
Uh, you could perhaps try an earlier version like Juno or Indigo? Maybe
there's just something to know about Kepler that wasn't a problem on the
Mac with the earlier versions?
