Hi,

I got a weird problem. I was using Eclipse Ganymede Version: 3.4.2 Build id: M20090211-1700 with RSE (from this version of Eclipse is says that everything is up to date) and it was nice, but I upgraded to Juno Version: 4.2.2 Build id: M20130204-1200 with RSE for HTML 5 support then trouble started.

I configured a SSH connection on both Eclipse using the same information.

I open a file to edit it, leave Eclipse alone for 2-3 min, then come back and edit the file and Save, Juno give me a error:

RSEF1002
Message reported from file system: java.io.IOException: Pipe closed

then I need to disconnect and reconnect

but Ganymede is fine.

as far as I know both configuration are the same, i even try to set the timeout to 30 sec with Juno without success.

What did I do wrong?

Thank you for the help

The issue sounds similar to this bug:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=359184

Please open a new bug for discussing your issue:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Target%20Management

It would help if you do Help > About : Configuration Details , paste that into a file and attach on the bug. Also attach the (workspace)/.metadata/.log file, it may show a traceback with more information.

Thanks,
Martin
