Hi,

Is it possible that, given two papyrus models m1.{di,notation,uml} and m2.{di,notation,uml}, the contents of m2 to be included into m1 ?

Optionally, the m2 files could remain in place, their contents being "controlled" from m1 in the resulting state.

I've noticed that the Import/Copy action from Model Explorer only copies the model, not the diagrams.

Regards
Vlad Gheorghe

Actually, the intention is to "just" tcopy diagrams between two models, but it really means that all of the referenced model elements must be copied with the diagram too.
Therefore, in a preparation phase, the source model should be cleaned up so that it only contains the diagrams and the represented model elements.

Hi Vlad,

There's an enhancement request for this feature:

394873: [Model Management] Papyrus shall enable to import model with their views.
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=394873

But it currently isn't on our roadmap.

Regards,
Camille
