hi, i could not find any forum for java ee idea so i am posting here.

the eclipse kepler rc1 developer downloads surprisingly do not include the "Java EE" build.

is that an oversight or a temporary problem? i. e. will it be provided in rc2?

or, is kepler dropping the extremely popular java ee package?

Hi Agks,

The developer releases RC* are not adopted. So there is no JAVA EE build. For the 4.3 release and subsequent service releases these packages would be provided.

Thanks

Not fully correct: the eclipse packages at http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/index-developer.php just lag behind the corresponding (milestone / RC) releases of the Eclipse SDK.

Right now the eclipse-jee-kepler-RC2 package is indeed available for download.

cheers,
Stephan
