Hello,

Eclipselink 2.5.0 does not contain the org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.osgi plugin. It is available in 2.4.1 (org.eclipse.persistence.jpa.osgi_2.4.1.v20121003-ad44345.jar), but seems to be absent for 2.5.0. I am not sure if this missing plugin is an intentional omission, or if it just a mistake.

Hi Hani,

In EclipseLink 2.5 and 2.4.2 OSGi support is provided by the Eclipse Gemini JPA project. We deprecated the "native" OSGi support over a year ago and it has now finally been removed. The advantage of Gemini JPA is that is implements the OSGi Enterprise Specification for JPA. http://www.eclipse.org/gemini/jpa/
