Hello,

I have an EMF domain model (written with the OCLinEcore editor) and a OCL file containing additional validation rules for the model.
In my runtime Eclipse, I create an instance of my domain model (via a GMF based editor) and wants to validate it using the external OCL file. When I right-click on the diagram, the "Load Complete OCL Resource" action appears correctly but it doesn't seem to do anything (my validation rules are not invoked, since I added a rule that always fails but no error shows up).

I installed version 4.1.0.RC1.

This seems to fail on Kepler but I've been able to have it working on Juno. However, I tried now again with a fresh install of Juno and I have the same problem. I can't say what exactly triggers the problem unfortunately...

Did you experience something similar or have any idea what might be the problem ?

Thanks for the help,
Cédric

Hi

Does the error log show anything.

RC1 has an improved PopUP diagnostic if Load fails, buit othewuse little
change.

Can you provide a Zipped project that fails?

Regards

Hi Ed,

No, the error log doesn't show anything.
I don't think that sending you the project will solve anything, since it was working properly for me with another eclipse installation (I had to reinstall Eclipse and since then I experienced the problem). So, I guess this is a tooling issue (some plug-ins that are not installed and that should be installed maybe).

Anyway, I'll send you the files via mail (for confidentiality reasons).

Thanks,
Cédric

Hi

Thanks. I see the problem. It looks as if the Complete OCL tutorial
should fail too, which begs the question as to why no JUnit test fails....

Hi

See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=409169 for details.

Hopefully it's fixed now (in Kepler RC2).
