I'm very interested in eclipse plugin development and would like to know how you would start if you would like to develop your own IDE for your own language with eclipse. There is no information about something like that. That is why i would like to have an opinion from more experienced developers.

Where to start: Code Assistance, Code Template, Syntax Highlighting, Errors.

I have no idea.

Check out the XText project. It will generate the plugins for you once you define your grammar.
