Yesterday i was using a java-like app on my macbook and i couldn't turn the app off(even with forced quitting) or turn my mac off .As i was in a hurry, i tried Deleting the app but it didn't allow me to, so i right clicked and pressed options then show in finder. after that it showed me a file called "java" in a folder called "commands", and I deleted it.It allowed me to turn the app off but now eclipse (juno) don't start, and it gives me this errorQuote:
No Java virtual machine
was found after searching the following locations:
/Applications/eclipse/Eclipse.app/Contents/MacOS/../../../jre/Contents/Home/jre/bin/java
java in your current PATH

If somebody knows please help, but try to be clear, because I'm a newbie on this java thing.

Crys,

If you deleted part of your Java installation, you'll need to reinstall it.

You can use the -vm option to tell Eclipse where to find the VM it needs:

http://help.eclipse.org/indigo/index.jsp?topic=%2Forg.eclipse.platform.doc.isv%2Freference%2Fmisc%2Fruntime-options.html

Crys,

It must be on your file system where you installed Java.
