Hi, when I try to add/edit a data set, nothing shows up under Available Items and I get a "connection is closed" error when I click OK (see below for full error). I'm using the latest BIRT 4.2.2 (all-in-one), latest sqljdbc4.jar from Microsoft. When I set up my data source, the connection test is successful. The sql server instance I'm connecting to is SQL Server 2008 R2. The account I'm using to connect has dbo privileges for the database. I can successfully run the same query using Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, logged in with the same account (it's a sql server authentication account). I have a nearly identical database on a different server that's SQL Server 2008 and I can connect and query the same table there with no issues. I also tried other jdbc drivers (jtds 1.1, 1.25, 1.27) without success; it always errored at the connection test. Any suggestions?
