Hello everyone,

I would like to register a custom UML profile in Eclipse, so that when I launch Eclipse my profile is automatically loaded.
I've found this link* but I'm not quite sure how to do such a thing.
If someone could provide me some steps I would appreciate.

Many thanks.

Hi

Copying is often a good idea in Eclipse.

Try copying the MARTE profile.

Thanks for the answer Ed.
I don't have the MARTE profile, but I can use for instance the SysML one. Now, I don't know where to look to perform the copying you refer.

I've found the following link that suggests the use of a plugin.xml file:
http://wiki.eclipse.org/MDT-UML2Tools_How_To_Use_UML_Profiles#Register_Profile
Probably you have experience doing something like this. Can you please give some more clues?

Thank you.

Hi

plugin.xml is where registrations are usually found.

Hello,

For those who also want to register their own UML Profile I recommend the following links. I was able to achieve it following the steps described.
