We have posted an updated version of the Eclipse Logo guidelines. These
guidelines outline how the Eclipse Foundation would like to see individuals
and organizations use the different Eclipse logos and trademarks. The
update guidelines can be found at this url
http://www.eclipse.org/artwork/logo_guidelines.html

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

The guideline says: ' The "Built on Eclipse" trademark is used to identify a
product that includes the core Eclipse Platform, specifically the runtime,
SWT, JFace, and Generic Workbench components.'

Where does a program using only SWT, or just SWT and JFace fall? For example
Azureus and RSSOwl. They don't use the runtime or workbench components, but
the guideline reads like all 4 are required to qualify.

Ed,

We did not do a logo for applications that just use SWT and JFace. We
definitely considered it but there are a number of other components that we
could have also considered, ex. SWT, JFACE, help manager, etc. Our goal was
to keep things simple, have a small set of logos and see how the community
responded.

Well, at least SWT should not have slipped through. It would be nice to
have just something little for SWT apps that says something like "Yes,
it's Java, believe me" ;)
