Hi all,

I am trying to creating a new ecore file in the model folder of my new modelling project, which is empty.

I right-click on the model folder and then select new project and then under Ecore Tools, there is only one option called: Ecore Tools Project.

But the tutorial I am following shows an option called Ecore Model which doesn't exist in my Eclipse IDE.

What should I look for in the market place? I have installed all i could find about EMF and Ecore before...

Thanks,

That's under the Eclipse Modeling Framework section. Note that the File
-> New -> Other... wizard allows you to type in the first field to find
a wizard by name in any category, try that.

It should be sufficient to have the EMF SDK installed. It's possible
that other things you've installed can add filters that hide the things
EMF makes available. I.e., via Window -> Preferences -> General ->
Capabilities you might try Enable All if you still can't find the wizard
for "Ecore Model"

Note that you're generally best off to ask questions about EMF on the
eclipse.tools.emf forum.
