hi,

I use Eclipse Modeling Tools, its Version is Juno Service Release 1, and the Papyrus is 0.9.2 version.

Now I can't connect two ports through a connector.

Appreciate your reply.

you need a containing element, e.g. a class. Then you can connect e.g. the ports of two components which are contained in this class. see http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/458052/

Hi,

create a class class2 and two nested classes. Then drag and drop the contained classes in the view to add properties. connect them. That's what works for me.

I can also just connect ports of properties, but not ports of classes or components itself.

once the properties are added by drag&drop, you select them and press F4 to select what elements you want to have shown.

Thank you very much.

It works well.

And do you know how to create a instance in the composite diagram?

Best regards!
