Hi there,

I wonder if there has ever been the idea of adding a menu

Help -> What's New

in the standard Eclipse Workbench.

We would like to have such a menu for our Eclipse clients that can be installed on the Eclipse platform (in other words: There's no productized delivery planned).

It could work similar to "Help -> Tips and Tricks" (see attachment), but we would prefer to point from "Help -> What's New" to the "What's New" tab of the welcome page.

Was there ever the consideration to have such a menu in the standard Eclipse WB?
If yes, why was the idea dropped?
