The VTP is for speech systems that use the web programming model (ie browser
grabbing content from a URI), so to do what you'd want to do you'd have to
put your java code in servlets or use browser-specific <object> tag
references into your java code from within a speech browser. If you'd like
to have a standalone application that utilizes speech, you can develop the
SRGS XML grammars inside the VTP but it doesn't have any editing capability
for what you're looking for precisely.
