I have had several conversations with Brian Carroll about
collaboration. In principle we are both open to finding ways in which
we can work together. From the ORMF perspective what prevents this from
gaining momentum is simply lack of resources. We have a lot on our
plate to simply build a viable team and get our first deliverable out
the doors. I am sure that as we mature ALF will one of the places where
we will endeavour to create synergies.

Btw, if you are really interested in this happening, please feel free
to contribute to ORMF by taking on an evaluation of how ORMF and ALF
could work together for their mutual benefit. As I said it is all about
resources :-)

Many thanks,
Joel

I guess discussing or writing it here would work?

Regarding resources aside from this topic, I am already committing
member of the EF and I remember to have filled those forms out in a
project-neutral form on purpose (not just for Babel, though they had the
option ;-)

So if actual contribution other than here or via email was desired,
please just let me know.

There was just an email that there will be an archive review for the
ALF project on Nov. 12. Seems that means ALF will be gone in a few
weeks.
