Hi Guys
I need somebody who can help me to customize EPF to support the RACI Model for a task,

R- Responsible
A- Accountable
C- Contribute
I- Inform

Right now we have only Responsible(In EPF as Primary Perform) and Contribute (In EPF as Additional Performs).
So I need to add for a task Accountable and Inform.
Is this customization available ?
Who can help me?
Has somebody the same need ?

Thank you,
Gabriel

Hello Gabriel,

I have the same problem. I need to create the RACI model in EPF, but as you said it is not supported yet. I see only Primary Performers (Responsible for ) and Additional Performers.

Have you found the solution to this problem? I found one document where Eclipse was talking about the new features of EPF (in 2007) and that RACI model should be one of them. But, I do not know if this happened or it will happen in the near future.

I would appreciate it very much if you can help.

Thank you!
Vesna.

Hi,

No solution yet. I have also RMC (comercial version of EPF)but is not working to add the accountable and inform roles. I need to contact IBM for support.

RACI is supported in RMC, but not EPF.
RACI is essentially a named relationship between a role and a task or work product.
RMC/EPF has one relationship between a role and work product (responsible)
and two between role and task (performing and supporting if memory serves).

To implement RACI in RMC, you can add new relationships as described here:

http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rmchelp/v7r5m2/topic/com.ibm.rmc.help.doc/topics/t_create_custom_method_content.html

You could also reuse the existing relationships, renaming them as needed in a custom skin (another RMC-only feature).

The tables presented by the webpage can be modified using the RMC skins feature.
