If I want to modify an EMF model through some method other than using the xText editor, but still want it to be compatible with the serializer, what is the appropriate way to handle proxies? Say there is a GUI editing an object and you specify a string property of that object that eventually will be cross referenced to another object, but in the process of creating it I want to save a partial design. Is there any documentation about how to manually create a proxy? Where is the string value of the proxy stored? Thanks.
