Is it possible to bring Console on top only at the start of building?

Currently Console is activated each time something was added to build log, this is very annoying because it is impossible to use other tabs (like Search or Call Hierarchy) while project is being built.

Just the simple behavior like it is in MSVC.

How do you configure this Console behavior?
Do you always bring it to top manually when build was started?
Or just don't use other tabs while the project is being built?

Can anyone share their experience with Console behavior, please?

Hi, I have Eclipse CDT Helios on openSuse 11.3.
Indeed every time when a build is started the console tab is activated automatically and all the compiler stuff can be seen.

But in my configuration I can select various tabs during build, e.g. most time I am switching to the Problems view.
Of course during build time the PC is very busy. But I can do anything else while build is running.

Eclipse allows a lot of settings. I am not sure about the location but I guess it is in the Windows/Preferences/...? where console activation can be selected.
