Unknown Eclipse Icon in Project Explorer View [message #1022717]

can someone tell me what this icon means? I can't find it in any of the documentation. It appears to be a red circle or dot on top of some of my folders in the project or navigator view.

Ever figure this one out?? I thought it was only when the project was out of sync or if if eclipse was having trouble access .settings or .project. Nothing seems to line up :/
