connector and the user left to figure out what he is supposed to do get
one and not everyone is going to realise what is missing or where to

Hi Erkki,
We work together with Eclipse Foundation to find a solution for legal
issues, because it's not only usability problem. In particular, this legal
issue seems as blocker for project inclusion in standard distribution
packages, etc. Every party here, like Subversive team, Technology PMC,
Eclipse Foundation, really want to close legal issues, but it's really
complicated process. Anyway, we already made step forward in this direction
and as the result Subversive became an Eclipse project. I beleive that
someday we will find a solution, which allows us to distribute a project as
one package.

Hello Werner,
Now we don't have any Babel translations for Subversive, I fired a bug about
this problem. "Team Provider Localization (Optional)" contains only french
and japan translations, but they are quite obsolete and I've also
contributed them to Babel.
Sorry, I don't fully understand the problem you wrote about, could you
please describe it in more details?

Since Subversive normally won't be preinstalled anyway (just take the
license issue, which also still looks WONTFIX ?;-) that may be acceptable as
long as Babel is supported.
You should no longer have those separate "i18n" updates though!
Did you provide the sources for that to Babel?
I could forward your last post to the Babel newsgroup, but beside that I
cannot help you as long as it does not show up in the Babel Translation
server.

Werner, the syncup script will sync up those translations where they
match english strings from the CVS client to the SVN client.

I contributed our translations ("i18n") to Babel, for more details please

I will remove our "i18n" plugins as soon as we have Babel translations.
I marked bug corresponding to Galileo Simultaneous Release requirement
"Localization - Babel"
(https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=254172) as 'wontfix'
following to advices from "Reminder and instructions to completeG-bugs" post
from cross-project mailing list: "For one, if you don't think you'll be able
to do something ... or, you think maybe there is a 50/50 chance you'll be
able to pull it off at the last minute, then don't wait, just mark is "won't
fix" and give some explanation as to why."
If any additional steps are required from our side, please, note it.
