I did a search for "eclipse bpel designer" and found the oracle site and got
the strong impression that I had to purchase something from Oracle to try
this out plugin out. Is that true?

If not, where is a web page that has a simple tutorial describing a simple
bpel project?

Thanks,
Siegfried

Hello Siegfried,

This Eclipse project is in the Proposal phase. This means that there is
currently no code available for you to download. If you'd like to read our
proposal, you can find it here:

http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/bpel-designer/index.html

The next step is a creation review, then the infrastructure will be set up,
and then we will start development.

Hope this helps,

james
