Hello everyone Smile

During my project study end I found a problem more precisely in class diagram

Here's the problem I have:

an electronic component belongs to one and only one category.

each category has specific properties that are different from other classes

you can find a property in several categories

each component has specific values for these properties

I work for several days and whenever there is a problem. following two proposals that I worked on it

someone had had advice to give me thank you in advance

Hi

Unfortunately your English makes your problem far from clear.

A 3-way AssociationClass is unlikely to be a good solution, particularly
not unless your an expert.
A 2-way AssociationClass is also unlikely to be a good solution.

"an electronic component belongs to one and only one category." suggests
composition but none is shown.

"each category has specific properties that are different from other
classes". This seems to be a confusion of terminology and/or
meta-levels. Uniqueness/difference is normally correct by careful design
of your class model, or enforced by OCL constraints later.

Thank you for your cooperation Smile

So, I have to remove 3-way AssociationClass. and adding the composition in the other example.

Is that I am far from needs?

Hi

I don't understand your questions.

I don't understand  - should I be rolling around with laughter?

I suggest you send in your assignment to your supervisor and see what
mark you get.

Please do not waste our time on your student work.
