Hi all,

I'm currently working on a project and i must choose one of Xpand, EGL
(Epsilon Generation Language).

I have already search some comparison beetween them. But can't find.

So i want to ask u, what kind of differences exists between this 2

transformation language.

Best regards,

Serhat GEZGİN

Hi Serhat,

In brief, Xpand provides support for code completion which EGL does not but on the other hand with if you choose EGL you will be able to share/reuse code with other Epsilon programs in your workflow. For obvious reasons, my view is probably far from impartial so I'd suggest doing a bit of prototyping with both to see which language fits your project better.

Cheers,
Dimitris
