Hi,

i want to know how i can add the plugin package "web tools platform" to eclipse - at the moment i started to learn xml and decided to manage this by using eclipse as ide - (i use eclipse already for java (more or less - eclipse is so extensive and i know so little about it)). I just need to know how to add this plugin.

hope you can help me - sorry for my bad english (i am from germany)

Benjamin,

Use Help -> Install New Software, choose the release train update site,
e.g., Juno, and look for the Web Tools XML support.

Ed's answer is exactly what you asked for. However, another way is
simply to download the package entitled Eclipse IDE for Java EE
Developers in the first place.
