Hi everybody,
I am a new user to eclipse. I created a new project and add some folders to it linking them to modify them directly. However, I forgot that i linked the files and I deleted the folders in the project which are actually my desktop folders and they are all permanently gone. I tried retrieving them through "Restore Files from local history" feature but it only restored some of my files which are less than a megabyte. All other files just disappeared and the "Restore files" function cannot find anything.

I am using Mac environment, please advice how to retrieve my files as they are really important and contains information related to clients and companies.

Thank you,
Ali Dhaif

When you link to a folder and later delete that folder via Eclipse it
does not delete it on disk by default. Now, if you don't have a backup
then your best bet is to get an undelete utility and hope it can recover
your files.
