Hi,

Is it possible to view the Acceleo UML2Java uml model with Papyrus? I
have seen several postings that are related, i.e. how to view an
arbotrary uml model with Papyrs, but none actually works....

TIA

Joost

Hi,

I don't understand what you want to do. What is "Acceleo UML2Java uml model with Papyrus"? Acceleo is a code generator, if you are looking for the code of the UML to Java generator, you can find it on Github. This generator will create Java source code from an UML model, it will not let you "see" an UML model or anything like that. It is not an UML model editor.

Ah, I should have asked the question a bit different.

The Acceleo UML2Java demo project contains an UML model. Standard, i.e.
if I double click on it, it is displayed in the generic text based UML
editor. I would like to view that model with Papyrus. Something like
Ecore's "initialise ecore_diagram diagram file" when right clicking on
an Ecore model.

TIA

Joost

Hi,

I haven't use Papyrus so I don't know how you initialize a diagram from an existing UML model. You should ask on their newsgroup.
