Dear community,
I've written a blog post where I propose the creation of a Stack Exchange site dedicated to questions about Eclipse technologies.
I argue that such a site would be very helpful in creating a "one-stop shop" for all technology-related questions about Eclipse. In my humble opinion, SE sites - in comparison to bulletin board-style sites like this one - provide an improved way of getting correct answers to questions, while at the same time providing better moderation facilities, as well as avoiding duplicates much better.
There are a number of drawbacks, and even reasons why an Eclipse Stack Exchange site may never see the light of day. However, I'd like to start a discussion about pros and cons of the proposal, as well as possibilities to implement such a site.
I'm curious to hear what you all think about it.

Stephan,
It's probably a good idea to open a bugzilla for this proposal and then
people can add themselves to the CC list to exchange ideas and to follow
the exchange of ideas. You could post the link to that bugzilla here.
