I have noticed the Gantt widget depicts with a different color the non working days of a week. These are by default saturday and sunday.
Is there any API to change them and also to include extra non working days (i.e. christmas, easter, etc.)?

AFAIK no there isn't.

In fact I extended the GanttChart locally to support this and I am planning to contribute my development back. As I did some local modifications lately I just need to check what can be contributed.
