Using Gyrex 1.1 (downloaded, untarred, started) I can connect to the WebUI but don't find a way to add a new P2 repository and install a IU.

Maybe somebody has a quick hint what I'm missing.

Thanks

Well I was able to add some p2 repositories to gyrex using the OSGi console and the command "sw addRepo somerepo1 somerepourl".

But then it seems that I need a package for installing. Issueing the command "sw addPkg test" gives the me the following error:

osgi> sw addPkg test
IllegalArgumentException: package does not have components

The p2 web UI wasn't available in 1.1. I highly recommend one of the
latest 1.2 builds. All the missing pieces have been migrated and are
available again. Additionally, it includes quiet a few bug-fixes and
library updated (eg. recent Jetty 8.x, RAP 2.0).

Although still "in development", the core is very stable and received
mostly bug-fixes. We back-ported a few to our custom builds based on 1.1
but we don't have any plans to publish any 1.1.x builds.

Our 1.2 release will be done in a few weeks. We plan to be ready for
participation in LTS (Eclipse Long-Term-Support) by then with this
particular release.

You can download the latest milestones here:
http://download.eclipse.org/gyrex/1.2/milestones/

If no blocker shows up, then M3 should be available later today.

So I will re-try later with M3 then.
