Hi ,
eclipse freezes when I switch wsdl file from design (graphical) view to source view or vice versa. Installation Arch Linux x86_64 + Openbox. The problem is on Eclipse Juno as well as previous versions of Eclipse on Arch Linux + OpenBox. I did not face this problem on CruchBang which also uses OpenBox. But I have seen this problem on Arch Linux + OpenBox. This problem also exists on ArchBang which uses Arch Linux + OpenBox.

"freeze" as in stops entirely no matter how long you wait, or as in "doesn't respond for some time before coming back"?

You may be interested to know that for Juno SR2 some fixes of significant performance bugs are in the pipe-line.
Using a recent maintenance build [1] should give you an idea of what it will be for SR2.

BTW, where's the connection to JDT in your question?

best,
Stephan

Stops entirely no matter how long you wait. This happens only on ArchLinux + OpenBox or ArchBang linux. I posted on ArchBang forum some time back. I also tried AUR eclipse package. But it has same problem. I posted it on AUR as well. I am not able to post links because I have less than 5 messages and forum doesn't allow me to post links.

Because I am new here. This was my first post.

Please have a look at http://wiki.eclipse.org/How_to_report_a_deadlock
If you can produce any interesting information consider filing a bug.

Please note that the WSDL editor is provided by the Web Tools Project (see http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/f/88/ )
cheers,
Stephan
