I am following the tutorial in the wiki [1].

It is recommended to install an older version of m2e

Quote:

Version 1.1.0 is not the current version. Therefore you might need to uncheck "Show only the latest versions of available software" to see this version in the list.

Is there any reason the latest m2e version is not used?

When Bruno wrote the tutorial Version 1.1.0 was the latest version.

After that we tried it with the new version 1.2.0. I think in the first week, this version had a lot of problem:

Now these problems might be fixed.

If you succesfully build with 1.2.0 please update the tutorial.

Building Scout Application with tycho is definitivelly something we want to do, but we are still building know-how.

Any help (documentation, experience...) in this domain is appreciated.

The tutorial describes how to build the MiniCRM example application with Maven Tycho.
Could you put the resulting MiniCRM example source code and files somewhere in a public repository?

I did create an Eclipse Scout sample application with JUnit Testing and integrated Maven Tycho build.

The code is shared on GitHub:

Any comments or improvments are really appreciated! Smile

Especially the following topics are work in progress/missing at the moment:
- SWT / RAP UI Build
- Eclipse Target Platform support
- running the tests automatically (e.g. Maven Surfire Integration)

Target Platform Support and testing (with Surefire) have been added to the Sample Application.

There is a public CI build on BuildHive as well

Also Ticket 400099 has beend solved to add better support for Maven Tycho Surefire testing with Eclipse Scout.

Any feedback is welcome.
