Mindmap Tutorial: Positioning of the ThreadItems [message #143637] Sun, 22 July 2007 21:45 Go to next message

Hello,

I have just finished the beginner's tutorial and came up with the
following question:

The Threads can be positioned and resized within the compartment.
The ThreadItems within a Thread are automatically placed under the last
Threaditem and I am not able to resize them. Why? What do I have to do to
get the same behavior as the Thread?

Thanks and best regards

Rainer

Hello,

In the mindmap.gmfgen model, take a look at the Gen Compartments for the
Thread and ThreadItem. You'll notice the List Layout property for the
latter is true, while the former is false.

Note that ThreadItems are defined graphically as labels only. You'll want
to define a node for them if you'd like to have the same behavior as
Threads.

It works with the ListLayot-Property set to false.

Thanks a lot.
