Ketan,

Where can I find instructions on how to set up a workspace to contribute
to SWTBot? I've looked around and found very little information.

So far I've checked out the sources, but there appears to be an
unresolved dependency on a plug-in named org.hamcrest

Thanks,

David

Good point. Ketan, you may want to create a releng project similar to
what PDE and Equinox has done. For example, if you go to the PDE Wiki,
we have a link to the PSF that fetches all the sources and deps.

http://wiki.eclipse.org/PDE
http://dev.eclipse.org/viewcvs/index.cgi/pde/org.eclipse.pde .releng/pde-all.psf?view=co

Cheers,

~ Chris

Hi David,

SWTBot comes with a releng project and things generally work out of the
box. The build instructions are available in the readme in the releng
project.

Reg the dependencies, I've not checked in, or managed to get them into
orbit yet.

You can download the dependencies from
https://swtbot.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/swtbot/branches/j ava-1.5-api-spike/org.eclipse.swtbot.releng/externals/plugin s/
for now (and put them in .releng/externals/plugins)

A patched version of the eclipse test framework is available at
https://swtbot.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/swtbot/branches/j ava-1.5-api-spike/org.eclipse.swtbot.releng/test-sandbox/ecl ipse-test-framework-3.3.zip
(you'll need to put this into .releng/externals)

Drop in an email if there's something else you need.
