Hi,

Saw that there's going to be a good Australian representation in
EclipseCon '06 :-) Hope you're proposal will pass.
Anyone else going to be there?
Maybe we can have a small OHF gathering.

Guess not. Maybe if my workshop on Maven and Eclipse is accepted and I get
invited to speak there (AND if I have time here despite my project work ;-)

I did a short presentation on OHF in Belgium (I am Austrian, not
Australian, but at EclipseCon this has been proposed by someone from the
OHF comitee, so Australian is right for him)

And I would welcome some gathering (maybe around a similar event here) in
Europe if that is where you are from?

Cheers,
Werner Keil

No, I'm actually living few minutes from the conference site.
If there'll be a forum for a gathering I can arrange a place at my work
site.

Thanks for the information.
Well it looks like the demos have not been selected. Guess there is a good
chance, I might make it over to the US if I do a demo there. If not, the
time and costs (also flight, hotel, etc.) might be too much and our
projects here are likely to run further into April or even May...

Thanks for the reply.
I have not even checked back on my Maven demo yet, but as it is another
type of presentation, they might decide on that later.

However, due to extreme time pressure and changing requirements here
(before early April) I doubt my project/client would even allow me to go
to California if my presentation was accepted (if it WAS, maybe I could
"contribute" it to you or OHF ?;-)

June sounds fine. As my partner who lives and studies in Paris will not
finish her semester before June or July, any vacation (abroad, maybe even
in America, Asia, etc. wherever it is SAFE ?;-) is not likely before that.
And my project runs till early spring. Have to see, if it is April, or
even May or June?

If there are important events like conferences, I might be in Central
Europe (Germany, Austria, etc.) In early June I might even be able to
arrange a OHF presentation IN Austria, as I am still in contact with the
Austria Pro group who advise the government and medical stakeholders like
the Social Insurance institutions!?
They invited me to hold a speech once, but if they are interested in those
developments, I would prefer some of you (who are already in the "Board"
of OHF) to be there as well...

Please also try to get some content behind the project page! So people can
seee something there and do not think, the project was dead ?;-)

I know, many projects have similar problems nowadays with the new Eclipse
L&F, but eventually it should be possible to upload content, even if you
are not allowed to do that directly?

Cheers,
Werner
