Hello everyone

when i try to drag and drop "actor" from model explorer to model editor of sequence diagram it is not dropped?

My steps was:
1-create new papyrus model
2-select sequence diagram
3-right click on model from model explorer
4-select new child and then add actor

Regards
Laya

Hi Laya,

simple answer. A lifeline represents a ConnectableElement (mostly a
Property) of the Interaction itself or the surrounding context Classifier of
the Interaction. Try to create a Property and type it with the Actor. Then,
you can create a Lifeline and set the 'represents' attribute to the
Property.

Anyway, I recommend reading the UML spec w.r.t. Interactions thoroughly.

regards,
Marc-Florian
