I would like to create a welcome page for my e4 app, similar to the one that Eclipse shows at first run. I searched for a guide how to do it, but found no relevant information. Although i see Juno shows a welcome page as well, i guess it is running through the e3x compatibility layer.

Whats the matter with welcome pages in e4? If it's not a platform feature, what do you recommend to implement (i don't like the compatibility layer thing..)? My first thought is a Part with a browser widget or a JavaFX canvas.
