I'd like to open an IFolder structure in a 2-way compare with a filesystem directory that is not in the workspace.

I see the ResourceCompareInput, and could use this as an example, but it is an internal package - org.eclipse.compare.internal so cannot be directly utilized.

What is the suggest way to proceed here?

should I use the ResourceCompareInput as an example and copy those classes over into my plugin, or is there a simpler way to achieve a 2-way directory compare?

Thanks,
Tom
