I'm try run the RAP Hello World (Template) and I got this error:

"The parameter 'path' must not be null."

I'd follow this tutorial: www.vogella.com/articles/EclipseRAP/article.html#firstrap

Any tip?

tks.

Hi Henrique,
are you using RAP Runtime 2.0M3? Did you install RAP 2.0M3 tools? In M3
we removed the support for registering of entry points by name (see
[1]). Lars article is too old (from 2010)... If you are using both Tools
and Runtime from 2.0M3 the RAP Hello World (Template) should work.

Hi Ivan.

I did download the "Eclipse for RCP and RAP Developers" [1].

And, also, don't get the RAP developers-guide tutorial [2] to run.

But wait... I see now there are other link for version 2.0 [3]. The default from this page [2] is for 1.5 version. My fault. I'll try this other tutorial [3].

thanks for now.

henrique.

Hi Henrique,

the ?version=2.0 links are brand-new, they have just been created
yesterday. But the 2.0 developer's guide is not yet updated to the
recent changes in RAP. If you're working with 2.0 milestone builds
(which is good!), please check the new and noteworthy [1] and the
migration guide [2], especially the section on entrypoints, which
explain why it's not working for you.

Best regards, Ralf
