How to find out why parts of the application model are not visible ? [message #985233] Thu, 15 November 2012 08:57 Go to next message

Hi all,
i'm trying to run an example out of a book. If I start the app from testing section in the product config, the base app window is shown, but I can't see the parts. I there a possibility to "debug" this stuff? No result, no error, ....

application model, product config and manifest is attached.

Thanks!

Make sure you checked to clear the workspace in your launch
configuration, else you'll get up with a restored state.

e4 question are better asked at the e4 forum.

Sometimes there are little details that make me crazy Wink

Just setting "-clearPersistedState" in the launching configuration resolved the problem. I hate caches ,-)

"e4 question are better asked at the e4 forum." thanks for the hint.
So here you are only discussing eclispe 3.x RCP topics and e4 RCP topics are discussed here "Home » Eclipse Projects » Eclipse 4" ??
