Hi Eugene,

Do you know if there is a difference between 1.5 and 1.6 sun jre's in the
data collectors? The reason I ask is in jvisualvm there is no profiling
for a 1.5 vm but there is for a 1.6vm.

So would I be able to profile a app using 1.5 with Eclipse?

Thanks,
-Tony

Hi Tony,

There is no major different in the data collection on JVM 1.5 and 1.6. JVMTI
is support on both JVM versions. As a result, TPTP support profiling with
JVM 1.5.

Hi Eugene,

Thanks I wanted to make sure there was no new functionality or data format
changes between 1.5 and 1.6.
