Hi,

I'm trying to use the Automated GUI Recorder to test an Eclipse RCP
Application. I have succefully installed TPTP and the gui recorder and was
able to complete the simple tutorial (where you record creating a new java
class). Now I want to record the real RCP application, but don't have a
clue, what I have to do. I don't know how to tell the test suite, that I
don't want to record the current eclipse workbench, but that I want to
start the RCP application and record the user interaction with this
application.

Thanks in advance
Henrik

Hi Henrick,
Unfortunately, the AGR does not support RCP applications:

Hi Paul,

I have found an older thread on this newsgroup, where someone asks, if he
can add tptp and all requirements to his rcp application, so that the gui
recorder can run in the rcp application. Do you think it is possible to do
that? I just want to clarify that, to avoid spending hours of struggling
with the plugin dependencies.

Thanks
Henrik

Hi Henrick,
No, the AGR will not work with RCP applications.
