Edit: This can be solved, by indeed adding Advisor Nodes, and skipping unwanted components.

I notice, that bucky would not complain if it can not resolve an optional dependency. However when it can resolve an optional dependency, but a child is not resolvable, I have a failure. Is this intentional? How do I deal with this? Shall I skip the children with an advisor node?

I my specific case, I am integrating an Xtext editor, and don't need all the code gen, builders etc... which are normally added to the dependencies. the xtext.generator for example would drag in many plugins, which I don't want in the target.

Any advise is most welcome
