Does Object reference table view support for Java 1.5 or above? If no, any
schedule for that? Thanks.

Hi Matthew,

Object Reference View is replaced with Object Allocation view in Java 1.5
and above. Please use the new view for object reference information.

Thanks. But in object allocations view, I cannot get the information what
are referencing if an instance allocates comparatively large in size in
memory. How can I trace it?

Hi Matthew,

The allocation information is available when you enable the 'Track object
allocation sites' option in the profile configuration (available under 'Edit
Option' of 'Memory Analaysis'. Double click on a class in the 'Memory
Statistics' tab of the 'Object Allocations' view will auto switch to the
'Allocation Details' tab with allocation information of the selected class.

Thanks. But it only shows the line number of the instance created. Can we
check which class (line number) has modified the instance to increase the
size allocated?

Hi Matthew,

Only allocation information is available in the support of JVM 1.5 or above
profiling. There is no information on where the object is modified.

Thanks. Could this feature include in later release? Or there is no way to
capture such information on JVM 1.5 or above?

Hi Matthew,
Such feature is not yet in any future TPTP plan; However, please feel free
