-> New Remote Site
--> Under "name: " WRITE "Callisto Discovery Site"
--> Under "URL: "http://download.eclipse.org/callisto/releases/"
--> press "OK"
-->Now under sites to include select "Callisto Discovery Site"
-->Press "Finish"
-->Then under "Callisto Discovery Site"
-->Select Java Development
-->Select Visual Editor 1.2.1
-->Select suitable GMF and EMF
-->then Next
-->Then Accept Terms and License Agreement
-->Then Next

I am trying to work with Visual Editor but it is a mindbongling and
nerve cracking situation...
I have installed the "europa" for java developers and followed the
underneath installation steps. Therefore, I can now create a visual
class but i get an eternal message "Setting up the visual editor" which
stucks at 25% and after long time it ends with either a parse error or
Null pointer exception. When it is done, I cannot see the visual tools
at the pallete.
Please tell me what to do, cause I cannot find out what is going on.

Hi,

Eclipse Europa (3.3) is not supported by the manual descriped below, because
VE 1.2.1 is only working with Eclipse Callisto (3.2).

Erik Hecht is providing an (unofficial) version for Eclipse 3.3 (see VE out
of Eclipse Europa Thread).

Regards,

Michael

Thanx a lot...
My general opinion is that with Eclipse, the whole setup of components
like Visual Editor or the integration with Tomcat is complicated...Hope
that it will be improved.
