I'm trying to profile some code I have isolated within a JUnit test. I
set up the profiler to perform a memory analysis and it collects the data,
but when I try to examine the data, the only options are Import or Export,
Refresh or Unload. When I try to open a profiling view, all I see are the
profiling monitor, log view and navigator, statistical graph & summaries
and the UML2 log interactions views. There's no object allocations, no
execution statistics, nothing that might be useful.
I'm running Eclipse 3.3.2 (M20080221-1800) on a 1.6.0_10 JVM, and my TPTP
feature versions range from 4.1.400 (TPTP Statistical UI) to 4.5.1 (TPTP
JUnit Plug-in Test Tools). Any hints or clues as to what I can do to get
those views enabled?

Hi
I am guessing you have used these views in the past? (what eclipse and tptp
version was that). I think you select Memory Analysis, try using the
Execution Analysis to see the execution statistics. Also if you double click
on Memory Analysis, you will see the option to track object allocations

I have the same problem: the context menu show only import and export.
I've selected execution analysis an tried different filtering criteria
without any difference.
I noticed that during the execution the event processed counter in the
status bar is always at 0.
I'm using eclipse 3.4.1 on a 1.6.0_07 JVM and those are my TPTP features:

Hi Tracy,
There is Object Allocation view that is available via the 'open view' action
in the context menu where you can see heap and allocation information of
your memory analysis. Note that the Memory Statistics view is only support
with JVM 1.4.2 and the Object Allocation is a a new view for JVM 1.5+
profiling.
As a short cut, you can double click on the profiling agent or its analysis
type in the Profiling Monitor view.
