Hi Holger,

I just came across your interesting project proposal for the EMF Feature
model. Since our company (ikv++ technologies ag) is very active in this
field, we would like to collaborate/contribute. Could you please add us
as interested party?

If you're interested, you can find some recent publications on our work
here: http://2009.pik-konf.de/docs/PIK2009_Ekine.pdf

Many thanks in advance,
Michael

Hi Holger,

Open Canarias S.L. is also interested in this project. We are using and
applying the ideas and concepts surrounding the SPL in our projects and
collaborating on having a great Eclipse project which provides this kind
of technology sounds promising.

Regards,
Adolfo.

Hello,
just stumbled upon the proposal for EMF Feature Model here -
http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/feature-model/

I find Feature Models an interesting approach and would like to know
where I could find more information about the EMF Feature Model project
and its development state.

Will the project have anything to do with this plugin
http://gsd.uwaterloo.ca/projects/fmp-plugin/installation/ ?

Currently we are planing the creation review.

Yes and no. The initial contribution comes from the Ecore Connector of pure::variants. See
http://www.pure-systems.com/pv for more information. But the University of Waterloo is
also involved into this project. So I think after the first "offical" meta model version
the plugin is updated using this meta model.

Best regards,
Holger
