In my eclipse 4 application which is defined:
Trimmed Window\
               Perspective Stack\
                      PartShashContainer\
                              PartStack\
                                       Part
                              PartShashContainer\
                                             PartStack\
                                                      Part\
                                             PartStack\
                                                      Part\

When I minimize the parts I get only 2 of the parts are shown on restore.One crashes with the following:

!ENTRY org.eclipse.equinox.event 4 0 2012-10-28 16:19:45.685

What is the problem? I have a setFocus in the corresponding Part as follows:

@Focus
	private boolean setFocus(){
		if(treeViewer == null){
			return false;
		}
		if(treeViewer.getControl() == null){
			return false;
		}
		treeViewer.getControl().setFocus();
		return true;
	}

Is there a work arround?
In your link it says:
Quote:
There is a part stack with "NoAutoCollapse" tag.

What is this tag?If this is set does that mean that the parts are not min/maximizable?
I could use that until this is fixed in 4.3

http://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/403398/ explains NoAutoCollapse

I don't think it will fix your issue. I haven't looked at the bug in detail and see if there's a workaround.
