Hi I am new to the forum but not to Eclipse.

I am running Linux Mint 13 64 bit and I installed the Java Eclipse, which works just fine and the C++ Eclipse. When I open Eclipse C++ it gives an error: "Git cannot be found".
And when I try to build a solution it gives an error saying something about binaries not found and then my Eclipse crashes.

Please help, thanks.

Hello Erik,

Do you have Git installed on your system? The package may be called something like git-core

I installed it, but still when I build a solution it says "Launch failed. Binary not found."

What messages do you get in the Console of Eclipse? Did it build your project correctly?

It doesn't say anything in the console, and it doesn't show any other errors.

Well, you should build your application before you launch it...
