New Technology Agent Controller crashing [message #130350] Wed, 21 May 2008 06:51 Go to next message

Hi,

I recently switched to the new technology Agent Controller with TPTP 4.4.1
runtime. I'm using it with Tomcat 5.5 for heap profiling. Tomcat does
start up and I'm able to connect to the agent. However, after a few
seconds, the tomcat simply dies with the following message

[Error: EC JPIAgent received message (FATAL ERROR): Internal error (see
log file).]

I did set the logging env variables (*MARTINI*) and have got that file as
well if that helps. Can't see a way in this message to post it.

Any clues on what could be wrong? My specific need is to detect where are
the objects being allocated in my source. I believe this is possible with
the new JVMTI profiler only, right?

Thanks for your help,
- NP

Please post the generated log file (MLog*.log) here. You can zip and
attach them to your message (use a newsreader like Outlook Express or
Thunderbird).

Thanks,
Asaf
